Welcome to Cyprus, an island of legends that basks year-round in the light of the warm Mediterranean sun.
A storied past 10,000 years long has seen civilizations come and go and the likes of everyone from Alexander the Great to Cleopatra stake their claim here - but then, people do tend to get possessive when faced with such beauty.

Aphrodite made her home on Cyprus, and travellers throughout antiquity came here just to pay her tribute.
Today Cyprus is a modern country that effortlessly marries European culture with ancient enchantment.
Here you will discover a compact world of alluring beaches and fragrant mountain peaks, vineyards studded with olive trees and ancient ruins that stir the imagination, citrus groves and old stone villages where sweet wine flows as freely as conversations at the local café.
A carefree place where a sense of timelessness is magnified by the kindness of the people. This official website of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation is designed to be your electronic entry to the quiet beauty of Cyprus in all its dimensions. Step inside for an in-depth look at an island that is as exotic as you imagine - and more accessible than you might think.

The Cypriot economy is prosperous and has diversified in recent years.[84] According to the latest International Monetary Fund estimates, its per capita GDP (adjusted for purchasing power) at $28,381 is just above the average of the European Union.[85] Cyprus has been sought as a base for several offshore businesses for its highly developed infrastructure. Tourism, financial services, and shipping are significant parts of the economy. Economic policy of the Cyprus government has focused on meeting the criteria for admission to the European Union. The Cypriot government adopted the euro as the national currency on 1 January 2008.[84]

Cyprus has been part of the Eurozone since 2008.
In recent years significant quantities of offshore natural gas have been discovered in the area known as Aphrodite in Cyprus' exclusive economic zone (EEZ),[86] about 175 km south of Limassol at 33°5′40″N and 32°59′0″E.[87] Cyprus demarcated its maritime border withEgypt in 2003, and with Lebanon in 2007.[88] Cyprus and Israel demarcated their maritime border in 2010,[89] and in August 2011, the US-based firm Noble Energy entered into a production-sharing agreement with the Cypriot government regarding the block's commercial development.[90] Turkey, which does not recognize the border agreements of Cyprus with its neighbors,[91] threatened to mobilize its naval forces in the event that Cyprus would proceed with plans to begin drilling at Block 12.[92] Cyprus' drilling efforts have the support of the US, EU, and UN, and on September 19, 2011 drilling in Block 12 began without any incidents being reported.[93]

POSSIDON BEACH GARDENS is very close to the town of Larnaka, the marina and the international airport. A direct motorway allows easy access to the capital, Nicosia, and all other towns. At the same time, the project itself is set in a serene and residential environment most suitable for permanent residence, particularly for families.

It is completely free from heavy traffic and noisy nightclubs. Instead, it offers the privileges of long walks and sports along the extensive beach. By local, as well as by international standards, the project compares most favourably with other projects of its kind.
